Homework

The teaching staff at Winston Way Academy regard the setting of homework as an opportunity to respond to parents’ request for guidance from the school about how to assist in their children’s learning.

Homework enables children to practise and reinforce concepts and skills which have been introduced to them during the teaching day. Completing homework to a high standard will promote independence in learning and benefit children throughout their schooling.
